Welcome to Beyond the Bell Great South Coast for 2021!

I hope you all had the opportunity to rest and spend time doing the things you love over the summer break. I enjoyed the festivities with family and friends and spent time exploring the region and a little of Tasmania.

2021 is going to be yet another big year for Beyond the Bell, with the finalisation of our new Strategic Plan and the Youth Conversations Project. The roll-out of the Positive Transitions to School Project: Stepping Stones to School and a ‘Superheroes Campaign’ continues and we look forward to diversifying The Collaborative Table Membership and refining the 12-month action plan.

Backbone support continues for the Local Action Groups across the region with reviewing and refinement of focus for 2021. The work is possible due to the significant number of community volunteers and organisational pro-bono work, of which I, and the Board, are very appreciative.

We have been fortunate to secure short-term funding from State Trustees Australia Foundation for Backbone support and Stepping Stones to School Glenelg.

We received a grant from the Ross Trust for Backbone/operational costs to continue short-term across the region.

Securing long-term funding for the organisation is a current priority.

Please be in contact if you would like to connect and discuss the work of Beyond the Bell across the region.

Take care.
